Dynamical and Differential Systems was an interesting topic for us. We were able to use our algebraic skills to manipulate equations and represent the situations that we want. Additionally, it was refreshing to see the vast application of algebra and calculus to real-world problems.

 

     Since all three of us, ACA modelers, have tried being a student assistant in IAM-Lab, we felt that we to pour more effort into this report, especially in the disease modeling section. As always, we are amazed at how diseases behave over time and it was exciting to somehow, dismantle the equation given by determining the assumptions of the model to graphing and interpreting the results. We frequently had group meetings to discuss our solutions and plans for this report. In that process, we felt how good and productive it was to have group collaborations.
